A manufacturing partner for hardware developers, product design consultancies and mechanical engineering teams. Turn CAD into prototypes, precision components and small-batch parts.
Explore manufacturing support for the physical components behind your engineering solutions.
PRODUCT DESIGN / FUNCTIONAL PROTOTYPES
Parts that turn a design into a sample.
Review form, fit and function with physical parts made to your models and drawings.
THE MANUFACTURING ROUTE
Prototype the idea. Control the interfaces.
Choose a manufacturing route around your design intent, material and test purpose. Keep prototypes, machined parts and revision requirements in one project discussion.
01 / 3D PRINTING
Prototype the geometry.
Compare metal, plastic and nylon printing around the required form, fit and function. Review the material, geometry and intended use before selecting the process.
Functional samples, complex brackets and custom housings
Printing and secondary operations reviewed together
Material suitability and acceptance requirements agreed for the design
Turn your drawings into controlled mating faces, bores, threads and mounting details. Review standalone CNC parts or printing followed by machining for critical interfaces.
Custom enclosures, structural parts and component mounts
Drawing-defined dimensions and interfaces
Workholding, access and inspection reviewed before production
Keep design intent connected from CAD to the finished part. Align the drawing revision, material grade, functional interfaces and acceptance checks before manufacturing.
CK inspection equipment. Inspection scope and reporting are agreed for each project.
01 / REVIEW
Models & drawings
Send the revision, exact grade, quantity and assembly requirements together.
02 / DEFINE
Critical interfaces
Mark datums, bearing seats, threads and final dimensions after finishing.
03 / AGREE
Inspection & finish
Confirm the inspection plan, surface condition and document requirements.

Real messages shared directly with CK. Original wording retained; customer names, companies and order details withheld. Portraits show CK staff, not reviewers. “CK contact” follows the conversation; “CK team” is a team representative, not an order-handler attribution. No star ratings or external verification implied.
Hardware developers, product design consultancies, mechanical engineering firms and R&D teams that need physical prototypes or custom manufactured parts. Send the component models, drawings and project requirements for review.
Can CK review manufacturability before our design is final?
Share the current revision and identify the features still under development. Our team can review the proposed manufacturing route, access, material and drawing requirements. Confirm the final revision before production.
How should we compare CNC machining and 3D printing?
Start with the purpose of the part: appearance, assembly fit, functional testing or a finished component. Material, geometry and critical interfaces determine the route; printing and machining may also be reviewed together.
Can we send multiple part numbers and prototype quantities together?
Yes. Send the drawings and a parts list with the revision, material, quantity and finish for each part. This helps us review the project clearly and prepare a quotation without repeated clarification.
Can we discuss an NDA before sharing client drawings?
Yes. Contact CK to discuss an NDA before sending confidential project information. Identify any drawing-handling or project confidentiality requirements with your enquiry.
