Custom grippers, locating fixtures, sensor brackets and precision housings. Review your automation components, materials and manufacturing route with one CK team.
Plan printed geometry, machined interfaces and finishing around the component’s role in your equipment.
The material and manufacturing route are reviewed for your drawing.
01 / METAL 3D PRINTING
Build the geometry your station needs.
Review compact end-effector bodies, integrated manifolds and custom tooling. Plan internal features, support removal and access to surfaces that need machining.
Custom gripper bodies and integrated air passages
Complex brackets and prototype equipment components
Printed geometry with allowance for critical machined interfaces
Dimensions and acceptance requirements follow the agreed drawing.
02 / CNC MACHINING
Control the features that locate.
Define fixture datums, locating bores, pin seats, mounting faces and threads. Choose standalone CNC machining or a printed body with critical features machined afterwards.
Fixture plates, clamping blocks and carrier nests
Tool adapters, sensor brackets and precision housings
Workholding, surface condition and inspection reviewed together
Repeatable assembly. Starts with defined interfaces.
Identify the features that control workpiece location, tool alignment and fit. Agree which dimensions apply after finishing and how the finished components will be inspected.
CK inspection equipment. Inspection scope and reporting are agreed for each project.
01 / REVIEW
Models & equipment context
Send the drawing revision, material, quantity and the component’s role in your station.
02 / DEFINE
Locating & mounting interfaces
Mark fixture datums, pin seats, mounting faces, threads and assembly clearances.
03 / AGREE
Inspection & surface condition
Confirm critical dimensions, protected interfaces, finish and document requirements.

This page focuses on custom component manufacturing, such as gripper fingers, tool adapters, fixtures, carrier nests and sensor mounts. Equipment integration, control software and complete-system supply are a separate scope to discuss.
Should I choose metal printing or CNC machining?
Share the geometry, material, quantity and intended use. Internal passages or integrated geometry may favour printing; accessible locating and mounting features may favour CNC. A printed body can also include CNC-machined critical interfaces.
What information is useful for grippers and fixtures?
Send a 3D model and controlled drawing. Identify workpiece contact areas, mounting interfaces, operating clearances, loads and any wear or surface requirements relevant to the component.
Can I start with a prototype or a replacement part?
Send the part model, drawing revision, exact material and required quantity. CK reviews the manufacturing route, inspection requirements, price and lead time before confirming the project.
How are tolerances and finishing requirements confirmed?
Identify the dimensions that control location or fit, and which dimensions apply after finishing. CK reviews feasible tolerances, surface condition and inspection scope against the specific drawing.
